Optical Illusions!!

An optical illusion is characterized by visually perceived images that differ from objective reality. The information gathered by the eye is processed in the brain to give a perception does not tally with a physical measurement of the stimulus source. There are three main types: literal optical illusions that create images that are different from the objects that make them, physiological ones that are the effects on the eyes and brain of excessive stimulation of a specific type (brightness, color, size, position, tilt, movement), and cognitive illusions, the result of unconscious inferences.

AVATAR!!!

Avatar was a 2009 an epic science fiction film written and directed by James Cameron.

Avatar is primarily an action-adventure journey of self-discovery, in the context of imperialism and deep ecology. Cameron said his inspiration was "every single science fiction book I read as a kid", and that he was particularly striving to update the style of Edgar Rice Burroughs's John Carter series.

In a 2007 interview with Time magazine, Cameron was asked about the meaning of the term Avatar, to which he replied, "It's an incarnation of one of the Hindu gods taking a flesh form. In this film what that means is that the human technology in the future is capable of injecting a human's intelligence into a remotely located body, a biological body."

The Devil's Pool!!

The Devil's Pool is possibly the world's most dangerous pool as it is situated on top of Victoria Falls. Located in southern Africa on the Zambezi River between the countries of Zambia and Zimbabwe, Africa, there are also various hippos and crocodiles inhabiting the Zambezi River that forms the Victoria Falls. The Devil's Pool is known in aboriginal legend to be cursed by a female spirit looking for her former lover. The locals believe that her calls can still be heard and are the causes of the deaths that occur there. Since 1959, there have been 17 victims from the Devil's Pool.

David Livingstone, the Scottish missionary and explorer, is believed to have been the first European to view the Victoria Falls — which he did from what is now known as 'Livingstone Island' in Zambia, the only land accessible in the middle of the falls. David Livingstone gave the falls the name 'Victoria Falls' in honor of his Queen.

It is neither the highest nor the widest waterfall in the world, it is claimed to be the largest. This claim is based on a width of 1,708 meters (5,604 ft) and height of 108 meters (354 ft), forming the largest sheet of falling water in the world.

The Devil’s Pool on the Zambia side of Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River has both the illusion of danger and the cold-reality-of-imminent-death danger if something goes wrong. Perched on the edge of the 360-foot torrent, the pool is a deep depression in the rock just upriver of the lip. In high-water months, it’s suicide, but from September to December the water is low enough to turn it into the world’s sketchiest jacuzzi.
